omg. SO MANY POSSIBILTIES, you’re going to make my brain explode, Nadya. Would it make me a bad fangirl if I said I’ve never thought about this before?

1.) We’re gonna volunteer. Clearly volunteering is the way to meet and fall in love with people, remember? ;) Also: I like it and he obviously does, too.
2.) Snowboarding. There will definitely be snowboarding. And shortly following the snowboarding will be a log cabin and a fireplace and hot chocolate with marshmallows and one fluffy blanket.
3.) He is going to find a tiny little kitten somewhere and hold it in his giant hands and talk to it in his cat whisperer ways so I can just spazz over the sheer adorableness of the entire situation in front of me.
4.) I need him to fix something for me. Something, anything. Hell, I’ll put a fist through my wall if that’s what needs to happen. HANDYMAN CORY = DO WANT. DO. WANT.
5.) He likes chicken. I make really, really good chicken. I suppose we can have chicken for dinner. And I’ll transfer it to his plate with tongs a chicken movement facilitator.
6.) Long, long conversations. There are SO MANY things I want to thank him for, and tell him, and hear his opinion on, and .. there will just be lots and lots of talking. Silly things like original mac & cheese vs. shapes, and bigger things like societal issues.
7.) Random drive to absolutely nowhere. Windows down, music blasting, singing as loud as we possibly can. Maybe some tiny-dancing in our seats, he’s fond of that lol. And when we get to wherever we’re going, I’ll ask him to actually dance. And will not take “no” for an answer.
8.) On my way home, I will most certainly be stealing a shirt to sleep in for the rest of my life. Preferably a v-neck.

I would say I’d want Lea to be there, but then I’d just feel super, super awkward. Like “oh, hello there, woman I shamelessly ship Cory with and girl-crush on, I’m his date for the evening.” So.. maybe J-Groff can show up for coffee or something? Cory’s probably gonna need multiple coffee breaks anyway lol, and I adore their friendship.


I’d like to call this.. my profession of undying love and admiration for Cory Monteith. AKA, just another post by me. Dearest Cory, Happy, happy birthday!  I hope today, and this next year, is filled with happiness, smiles, love, and lots of cake.. I can think of very few people who deserve it as much as you.  Silly coming from someone who’s never met you, perhaps, but I like to think I know you.  I feel like I know you.  Interview after interview, article after article.. my love and admiration only grows with each one.  You are a rare find in this world, Cory.  The kindness and patience with which you treat your fans is almost unheard of today.  The humility you display is possibly one of the most beautiful things about you.. to get to the place where you are, to have that kind of stardom, and to remain that grounded in spite of it all is nothing but incredible.  The way you seem so at ease with yourself, the way you’re not afraid to be silly, not too “manly” to be a little goofy.. that’s how you won our hearts.  It’s so wonderful to see someone who doesn’t take himself too seriously, who doesn’t think he’s above anyone else.  You never fail to leave us smiling, Cory, and I think that’s the best gift you can give to us.  Of course we love to watch you singing, dancing, acting.. you are incredibly talented, and you never disappoint.  I’m so happy for you, for the lengths your career has come in such a short time, for the promising future you hold.  But I know you’ve heard all that before.. and that doesn’t mean I appreciate it any less, I just don’t know how often you’ve been praised for your character, and I think it deserves mentioning.  You got our attention with your talent, Cory.. you sparked it with your beautiful voice, your adorable dance moves, and your impeccable acting.. but you kept it by being you.  You kept it by being true to yourself, by not succumbing to the pressures of the industry, by working so hard for something you want, and by keeping your head far above the water.  I have nothing but the utmost respect for the way you handle your celebrity, and for the way you lead your life even independent of that.  So.. thank you, Cory.  Thank you for all that you’ve given us, for all that you’ve shared with us.  Your talent, your enthusiasm, your time, your effort, your kindness.. it doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.  I know celebrities are always thanking their fans, saying the fans are the reason they are where they are.. but really, we’re the lucky ones.  Know that we all support you one hundred percent, and love you for all that you are.. and we’re looking forward to that inevitable day you walk across our television screens with an Emmy!  Keep up the hard work, keep being the incredible man you are, and keep smiling that beautiful smile- its power is overwhelming.   1. HIS BEAUTY. Let’s just get the obvious out of the way in the next couple bullets. He’s beautiful. He’s so, so beautiful, it almost hurts to look at him.
  2. His eyes. I swear, those gorgeous auburn eyes are always sparkling. The way they crinkle when he laughs, the way one of them is slightly smaller than the other, the way they light up when he gets excited.. Lord, those eyes.
